Em Seinemeier

A skilled and seasoned practitioner, Em offers a brave and safe place for courageous conversations where insight can be fostered and perspective enhanced. With over 20 years pastoral experience leading local churches and developing leaders, she is convinced of the value of quality supervision, mentoring, training and coaching for those at the coalface of the helping professions. Em accompanies clients in reflecting on their experiences in a way that connects with future practice, and with a heart for their development and thriving vocationally and personally.

Different people engage in different ways, so Em works collaboratively and responsively with clients in consideration of their requirements for a tailored approach - “one -size-fits-all” usually suits no one! Having navigated key seasons of transition and change in her ministry and family life, she knows the potential of liminal spaces for growth and transformation, and it’s her privilege to journey with others in their discovery.

Em’s current academic research explores theologies of trauma and suffering, and their impact in how we live in community as good neighbours. Em is available for in person and online appointments with individuals and groups. She loves stimulating podcasts, poetry that doesn’t rhyme, travel to cold places, and altogether too much tea.
